Here are some new pics!

I am really happy with the firmness of my face. I've learned some tricks for taking pictures, like sticking out your chin, touching your tongue to the roof of your mouth and leaning forward, but I find that it doesn't make much difference anymore, because my face already looks like that.

I recently went in to change my address on my driver's license and realized I would have to take a new picture. *rolleyes*

But ... I liked it!

It turned out fairly well. The last time I took a DL pic that I liked, I weighed about 40lbs less than I do right now and was 8 years younger!!

Here I am about two months down the road!

I'm happy to report that my eyebrows are where they used to be, my cheekbones are higher and it seems like even my eyes and mouth have been lifted a bit.

I think I have taken at least 10 years off my face!!

Still working on the under-eye wrinkles, but when I look at women who are much younger, they have them, too. Just not as much as I used to have before I started using the TFF. There's a big difference, but I am still hoping for even more.

The Eyes Have It

I just wanted to drop in briefly here to mention that my eyes are looking better!

I've been making sure to apply it more thoroughly to the under-eye area, but it may also have been just a matter of time. I think I may give it another couple of weeks, though, before posting a picture.

Hopefully, it will smooth out even more by then!

My birthday is next week~~this is such a great birthday present! Last night, at dinner, two people were surprised to find out how old I will be on my birthday. They guessed 8 years younger! :)

Four Weeks Later...

In the BeautiControl literature about the product, they suggest taking a picture again in 8 weeks.

So, that was my plan. In the month that followed, I didn't really notice anything much, anyway. My face seemed a little firmer, which is always nice, but there must have been subtle changes taking place that I didn't really see.

Then, one afternoon, I was taking pictures of my son at the park and he asked if he could take one of me. He seemed so eager to try it, I decided to let him. Well, later, I was uploading the pictures and was absolutely amazed at how much younger I looked! At least I thought so--what do you think?

It reminded me of how my face used to look 10 or 15 years ago.

In the days since then, I have noticed that my eyebrows seem to be "back where they were" and so do my cheeks.

There is definitely still room for improvement! I'm hoping that in the next 4 weeks, the area under my eyes will fill out and smooth away. And I'd like for my forehead to continue to get smoother, too.

But I'm quite pleased with what's happened, so far!

An Experiment in Beauty

So ... I finally ordered and received the TFF cream about a month ago and waited to use it until the day I was going to go to my church's Wednesday night supper. I was supposed to take pics right before I put it on and then, 6 hours later.

I was kinda hoping I'd notice a difference before leaving for church.

So ... these are my "before" pictures in this post.

The one where I'm wearing purple was just after I'd put it on and the one where I'm wearing pink was almost 6 hours later as I was headed out the door.

My Quest Began...

I have been using BeautiControl products for about 15 years and have been a consultant off and on for almost that long. But I never really paid any attention to the anti-aging products. I had heard all my life that African-Americans don't age and I sure took that to heart!

And I have to admit it snuck up on me!

Between motherhood and establishing a healing practice, I wasn't taking a careful look at whether or not I looked older. I knew I felt older, but that's another story.

Then, a couple of months ago, I was horrified to notice lines in the middle of my forehead and beneath my eyes. I had reluctantly conceded within the past couple of years that my face had sort of "dropped" a little, but I was willing to live with that since my skin still seemed smooth.

But wrinkles? I don't think so!!

So I decided to look for something that might get rid of them. That search coincided with the release of Tight, Firm and Fill, so I figured I might as well give it a try. I didn't think it would help all that much, but even if it only helped a little, that would be good, right?

So I ordered it and when it came in I took "before" pictures...
